Why have we funded this campaign?
We initiated this campaign to address the urgent needs of communities facing hardship, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, when the importance of charity and solidarity is magnified.
Progress
What is the objective?
The objective was to alleviate suffering and bring hope to those in need, fostering a sense of community and compassion during Ramadan.
Who does this campaign help?
This campaign provided critical assistance to a wide range of people who are grappling with poverty, displacement, and hardship. From providing sustenance (hot meals and clean water) to giving joy (granting the wishes of orphaned children), our work offered relief to those facing adversity.
How has this campaign changed lives?
This Ramadan, our impact spread across several countries where we serve. We provided nearly 175,000 hot meals, set up 58 water wells, and helped to kickstart three small businesses. These efforts didn’t just meet immediate needs; they also set communities on a path to long-term success. We provided 2,767 food packs and shared meat with 200 people, ensuring they had enough to eat and stay healthy.
But it didn’t stop there. We made sure that kids had clothes to wear and organised fun stuff like the Orphan Fun Day and a trip to the funfair. At our Wish Room project in Lebanon, we made dreams come true for 30 kids. We brought smiles, laughter, and a sense of normalcy to children who might not otherwise get to experience these joys. It’s not just about fun; it’s about building resilience and hope for the future.
What’s next for this campaign?
We are committed to sustaining our efforts and expanding our reach to keep supporting more vulnerable communities beyond Ramadan.
