Description
A gift of a Tuktuk is a job opportunity - removing one person or family from the cycle of poverty. Each beneficiary rents their electric Tuktuk from Salam Charity, at a minimal fee, for 18 months (while also receiving support in establishing their business). At that point, each beneficiary will own their Tuktuk and keep all their income. Their rental fees enable us to keep buying new Tuktuks, benefiting more families. This cost includes the Tuktuk as well as registration plate and charging outlet.
